Work schedule for the construction industry in Spain 2012

The working schedules for the construction industry are different in each autonomous community (region) and even for each province. Therefore, there is no single work calendar in the construction sector in Spain in 2012. In this blog we are collecting the working schedules of the building industry for the following Spanish provinces in 2012:

Holidays and non-working days:

• On Saturdays and Sundays.
• There are three local holidays in each municipality.
• There are eight non-working days in each province.
• There are two public holidays in each autonomous community (region).
• There are nine public holidays equal throughout Spain.

Spain is structured by autonomous communities (regions). Each autonomous community (region) is formed by one or more provinces.

This year 2012, there are provinces that have not published the work schedule from the construction industry in the Official Gazette of the relevant Province.
