Work schedule for the construction industry in Spain 2013

The working schedules for the construction industry are different in each autonomous community (region) and even for each province. Therefore, there is no single work calendar in the construction sector in Spain in 2013.

In this blog we are collecting the working schedules of the building industry for the following Spanish provinces in 2013:

Asturias
Badajoz
Balearic Islands - The Balearics
Barcelona
Burgos
Caceres
Cadiz
Cantabria
Castellon
Ceuta
Ciudad Real
Cordoba
Corunna
Cuenca
Gerona
Granada

Salamanca

Teruel

Valladolid

    Holidays and non-working days:
  • On Saturdays and Sundays.
  • There are two local holidays in each municipality.
  • There are eight non-working days in each province.
  • There are four public holidays in each autonomous community (region).
  • There are eight public holidays equal throughout Spain.
  • The annual working days are 1,738 hours.
  • There are 21 non-working days paid Holiday.

Spain is structured by autonomous communities (regions). Each autonomous community (region) is formed by one or more provinces.

Throughout the year we will be incorporating the working schedules of construction that will be published in the Official Gazette.
