The working schedules for the construction industry are different in each autonomous community (region) and even for each province. Therefore, there is no single work calendar in the construction sector in Spain in 2013.

- Holidays and non-working days:
- On Saturdays and Sundays.
- There are two local holidays in each municipality.
- There are eight non-working days in each province.
- There are four public holidays in each autonomous community (region).
- There are eight public holidays equal throughout Spain.
- The annual working days are 1,738 hours.
- There are 21 non-working days paid Holiday.
